Dominion Mortgage Pros, a leading mortgage brokerage across Alberta, has been a long-term client of Strong Coffee Marketing for 12 years and counting. Their primary need was to establish a strong online presence to drive mortgage-related inquiries and leads through multiple websites and landing pages that we built, managed and maintained.

Dominion Mortgage Pros approached Strong Coffee Marketing to see if they could help leverage digital ads to drive more leads. With intense competition within a fluctuating mortgage market, we had our work cut out for us. Our challenge was to find and consistently drive high-quality leads while gaining an understanding of the market and ensuring a profitable cost-per-lead for Dominion.

To tackle this, our strategy evolved through rigorous testing and data analysis:
  • Keyword Testing: Tested thousands of keywords, scrutinizing various ad strategies—from city-specific ads to long-tail keywords to broader keywords with better copy— we tried it all to identify high-intent searches, and lower-cost leads.
  • A/B Testing: Tested and employed new website designs and custom-built ad landing pages with continuous split (A/B) testing to optimize for higher conversions based on layout, content, and user interaction (which was also monitored through Heat Mapping Technology).
  • Multi-Platform Campaigns: While Google Ads was our primary platform, we also experimented with Facebook and Bing Ads to diversify lead sources and explore new channels.
  • Call Tracking & Analytics: We used CallRail for better tracking of phone calls, helping us in evaluating their quality and source to refine and enhance marketing campaigns.
  • Continuous Optimization: We conducted regular campaign reviews and kept in close contact. We provided monthly reporting including insights and comparisons for multiple years to better understand the impact of market trends. Real-time performance data was also shared through dashboards for on-the-spot reviews of campaigns.
